SEEING THE NORTHERN LIGHTS 😭

I live in Sweden, close to the Arctic circle, where northern lights are very common. It is really nice to see people enjoying and getting so excited by northern lights. I won't take them for granted from now on and appreciate them more!

I live in England and a couple weeks ago there was like a sun explosion thing and we could see the northern lights from our house! Truly magical :)

Seeing them is beyond magical! I saw them for the first time in southern Iceland and saw them in Northern Rovaniemi Finland!

I live in tennessee and there were 3 nights in a row where we could see the northern lights from our backyard. it was so beautiful. but the vibrancy and color was not as good as it would be in iceland or other places. but it was amazing!!

A couple of weeks ago we were flying to Paris from the states and had a layover in Iceland. On the plane to Iceland we saw the northern light!!! They were very clear and bright and we got lost of pics!

I saw in from my garden I looked north and I had my phone and we were looking on night mode and got some great shots! So glad you saw it too!

For some Americans commenting here who are wishing they could see Aurora too:

You don't need to spend so much money getting to Iceland to see the lights, we see them here in Canada often too. Come visit your neighbours to the North :) Plus during the current peak period of solar maximum, they may even show up in the continental US!

ITS THE BEST FEELING SEEING THEM IN PERSON😭 Ever since I was a kid it has been my dream to see them irl!! I live up north in the U.S. but not up north enough to typically see them. God blessed me with the most incredible gift when I got to see them for the first time irl in May this year!!!! They were INCREDIBLE😍 Since then, I’ve been even more obsessed with them and track them every day to make sure I don’t miss them. The sun is at its peak in an 11 year solar cycle right now, so they have been much more active and intense this year (hence May 10th). I’ve seen them faintly a few times since (mostly only visible with my phone), BUT tonight there was another intense geomagnetic storm and so they were SO ACTIVE AND BRIGHT IN MY BACKYARD😭😍 It was Bright greens, pinks, and even orange lit up the sky💚🩷🧡 It was SUCH A BLESSING FROM Praise Jesus🙌🏻❤️✝️
