I just saw the northern lights for the first time yesterday due to the major 2 day storm and let me tell ya, it’s beautiful! Cameras make them seem more colorful so don’t be let down when they seem more pastel in person, just know that. Still very amazing to see in person, it’s like when you see a rain cloud in the distance falling onto the ground but colors instead of rain. Truly magical.

My husband named our daughter after the northern lights because he thinks it's the most beautiful thing on earth. It truly is. I hope she'll like her name when she's older

There were heavy Sunstorms. We had Northern Lights almost down here in Germany. They were very small, but I could see them. But this Northern Lights are so beautiful and incredible strong. I have Goosebumbs when I see them and hear your joy and enthusiasm. 😊

My Grandfather was Swedish and my Finnish born Grandmother was Aina Aurora. Seeing this awesome sight I sincerely hope they saw this many times in their youth before they immigrated here to America. Thank you so much for all of your work in sharing with us the endless beauty of Sweden.

The one time I saw them in '96 in northern Michigan, it was one of the most amazing and mesmerizing things I have ever seen. Just stood there looking up at the sky for over an hour.

When i stepped out of my front door and seen the lights i was so awestruck. It was so beautiful 😍 it lit up our sky for hrs. The pinks, purples and greens were so beautifully vibrant.
