I love my C7 manual, but instantly regretted not getting a wide body version when they came out. The wide body takes it another level. I promised myself I’d wait this time around. But seeing all these beautiful C8’s has made the wait very tough. I am worried that they make it a straight up track car. I would have preferred a C7 grand sport over a Z06. But there’s no way I can wait any longer for the C8 equivalent/hybrid, assuming it would even be widebody…..

Everyone complains how quiet the Stingray is so I believe the Z06 exhaust will be much louder and obviously a different tone.

Its not just the flat plate crankshaft. The engine is designed and built by Cosworth. It is basically a v8 version of the valkyrie v12. Same head and cylinder design. Also I believe its not a 5.5 but a 4.2 litre.

They should of put the engine in the sting ray to begin with. And a more power version in the z06 that surpasses the horse power of the c7 z06. I mean the 458 is 76 inches wide same as stingray and its got flat plane crank already

speed is cool don't get me wrong, but most performance cars are way more than most people on the street will ever be able to handle. The lack of a real stick and the sound of this (not a fan). Cool its fast but its not a corvette anymore, I am glad I have my manual c7

Corvette has several "under development" C8 ZO6, ZR1, E Ray, and Zora vehicles testing around the country in camo...so...why can't they bring them, with their camo, to Corvettes at Carlisle in August? See if you can get answer to this question with your
