How I Record Drum Videos With Roland Drums

In this video I go over how I've been recording drum videos with a Roland drum kit for years, and the equipment I use to do it. For a lot of people such as myself, having a real drum set in an apartment, etc may not be an option. So I hope to provide some insight into how you can record quality drum videos in a short amount of time with your electronic kit.

For someone who works in video production and also plays the drums, I always set up multi cameras. Usually no less than three cameras in my drum cover videos. With Pluraleyes, syncing doesn’t take more than a minute or two. I probably spend more time setting up the cameras and getting the angles dialed in than anything lol.

Thanks for this video. I've been trying to record and save the tracks on a usb through the usb input, but I haven't been able to find a way to record without eliminating the click track. I'm definitely going to be picking up this Roland 09 device. Cheers!

are you able to do multitrack editing after you record, like adjust the sound levels for each individual pad or do you just have to set the levels beforehand and hope they all sound good after everything is recorded?
