Hey man great video and great content if I can give you one tip there’s a lot of stuff you missed that you could of talked about to make the drums sound even better when miking a drum kit

Like with the overheads makes sure there at the same level cause if your overhead mics are not at the same level then your drum recording is gonna sound out of phase

The other thing talk about how far or close your mic should be to the kick drum

Same with your snare mic and Tom mics

You did a great job on the video there’s just a few importing things you should say and cover in the video to mic a drum kit

But you did a great job and keep up the great work

I’m a audio engineer and a music producer so I know all about this stuff
And I also run a YouTube channel where I teach mixing and recording music

But keep up the good work your doing great
