I lost my wallet in Reykjavik. It fell out on the street while I was walking. I backtracked when I realized it was missing and found it still lying there. When I told a guy about it that night, he said, "Why were you worried? No one would've taken it." Definitely NOT in America anymore.

I went to Iceland for a week and I thought "What if I happen to see this guy on the street?", but then I thought "C'mon, that's not gonna happen". On the last day, on my way to the airport, I saw him walking on the street 🤣

I love the approach: "hookup? yeah. but we're hungry, we can grab sth to eat".

As a 6'4 icelandic man myself...I can vouche that not every man goes for one night stands. It's normally a two night stand. 2 nights of sex before getting to know you. That way, we'd know the 1st night wasn't a fluke. Cause on the 3rd night...it's usually when we propose...to try in getting to know you. And a couple of one night stands more, we just get down on our knees and propose marriage. We really don't like wasting time.

Although I’m not a fan of the “1-night-stand then get to know each other” cultural norm, it’s still a beautiful country with friendly people! 🇮🇸❤️

What a beautiful view of the mountain! Iceland seems like a nice and chilled environment. Awesome video Marina! Nice cameo appearance at 2:43 😃

The word “please” does exist in Icelandic, it’s “vinsamlegast”, most commonly paired with other polite words such as “gætiru” or “could you”. So basically please = could you please in Icelandic.

My man is Icelandic. Everything in this video is SO TRUE!
I’m danish. We are socially inhibited and nervous all the time. We have an interesting relationship 😂
