Actually if your lever is pulling to close to the bars it means you either have air in the hydraulic system, you lost some brake fluid or you need new brake pads. This is a short term remedy and will probably work for one ride if that.

If your lever is pulling to the bar you need a bleed you have air in your line

Not good advice. If your brake lever is pulling in too far, there’s probably air in the system and you need a brake bleed. If you don’t have the tools to do that and don’t have experience working on hydraulic brakes go to a bike shop and have them do it. The advice on this post can get you seriously injured!

This is an awful tip! Piston travel varies from brake set to brake set DO NOT DO THIS!!! You could pop your caliper pistons out and won't be able to get them back in

To hell with disc brakes. Go got the V-Brakes instead. I just got rid of my disc brakes. They are rubbish. I'm lucky that my Corratec MTB frame can take both disc/rim brakes. Rim brakes are the way.
