Corporate lawyer here. I don’t want to make too much information public about myself, nor do I want to disclose the exact amount of my earnings. But I can tell you this about myself-.

• I make five figures a month. The upper stages of the five figure mark to make it a bit more precise.
• I travel at least twice a month. I’ve been to over 45 countries, spanning six continents. To add that little extra, I’ve visited 43 states within my country (The United States).
• I live in New York City, and I graduated from Columbia Law School. Before that I only attended private schools.
• I own two beautiful, high end German cars. As well as a fairly recent purchase, in the form of a British flagship vehicle. The vehicles are the following-.

One 2017 Mercedes S-Class Maybach, one 2018 Porsche 911 Turbo S, and last but definitely not least, a 2018 Bentley Continental.

I’ll also add the fact that I’m fluent in four languages, and on the way of learning a fifth one. English, French, German and Spanish I can speak fluently, and Italian is the one I’m trying to learn.

I’ve sacrificed my childhood, and the majority of my twenties to get where I am today. I almost went into a severe depression some years back because of overworking and stress. I took 6-7 different pills a day to prevent me from getting anxiety attacks. I never had a sustainable and healthy relationship with anyone, not even my own family and friends. Most days I just wanted to let everything go. But, I didn’t. I fought through it. And today, I thank god and myself that I didn’t. Because where I am today, what my life looks like today, is something I see myself deserving. My fiancé, my family, my wonderful friends and co-workers, everything is just where it’s supposed to be.

Nothing comes to you served on a silver platter. You need to fight the fight, walk the walk, and prove to the universe that you’re worthy the life you so dearly desire to have. Nothing is easy, but always remember...

Majority of lawyers do not work in “big law” and don’t believe the hype, lawyers are not making what a lot people think they are making. I’ve come across full time working attorneys, who have to do work on the side just to make ends meet. My best recommendation for anyone pursuing a law license is to do it because it’s something they are truly passionate about it and not doing it for the money because the end result will surely end with a harsh reality check.

Big law might pay well, but the reality is that 90% of attorneys won’t be in big law. The average salary of a Joe Schmoe lawyer in your average city is really not that impressive.

basically if you wanna make six figures you need to graduate with good grades and live in a big state or a state thats high cost, and apply to either a medium size firm or big firm

Great video! Great insight into what lawyers do and addressing some misconceptions people have about lawyers! I recently graduated law school and passed the bar exam. Unfortunately I lost my job due to coronavirus cutback and I started a channel documenting my journey back to getting a job and starting my legal career. Bro this video is so helpful. I live in the uk so the prices are probably different but I’ve been deciding on what I want to be when I leave high school and what I’m going to study. And I think I’m going to go for a law degree. I’m hoping to go to Cambridge or oxford something like that but it doesn’t really matter where I go. It will just look good on paper. And hopefully when I’ve been a lawyer for many many years I can have my dream job of being a judge.
