Largely a very good video, but the money in crime is more generous than presented here. The bar council’s earnings report is a good place to start, but - fortunately my set - and a lot of other good criminal sets offer pupillage awards at well over double the minimum.

I note that at 0.46 to 0.55 you mention that "a Solicitor is a lawyer that does non -law work...so they might draw up a contract or help you buy a house or help you bring a claim against someone else ''. My son is looking into becoming a Solicitor and is a bit confused as to why Solicitors would do standard non-law work. Also, is drawing up contacts, helping clients to buy a house or help bring a claim against someone, considered non law work in the UK? I would be grateful if you could clarify. Many thanks.
