100+ Ton Megalithic Blocks

Sitting high atop the northern outskirts of Cusco, Peru lies the mind-bending fortress of Sacsayhuaman, (Saqsaywaman) – one of earth’s greatest megalithic marvels. The walls here consist of interlocking granite stone blocks that feature mortarless precision, some of them weighing as much as 125 tons. Each foundational stone goes about twelve feet underground, making the walls earthquake-proof.

Anyone who has built even the remotely simplest thing...a cabinet, repaired a car, changed brakes, worked in manufacturing, can immediately see how mind bendingly IMPOSSIBLE this structure is without advanced tech and tools.

The way the rocks bulb out, as though just bags of sand, and fit together like a puzzle. The fact the stone aren't cut symmetrically at all, yet fit together perfectly.

It really goes unappreciated by most people because most of us have never built or designed something.

They look randomly placed but they are not. A normal brick wall like structure with the same stones would never come even close to the strength of this structure. It's truly amazing!

I watched a couple of guys in an interview, one a geologist the other one was a hydrologist. There answers to why the placement of these rocks are the way they are and why some look like they were picked up and just toppled over around the world at these site’s is that it’s a great way to keep them from being knocked down by seismic activity, and the only way that they could have been knocked down was by a lot of water. It’s one of the few things I’ll take away from the Ancient Aliens program that I believe to be true.
