Another reason to bring a power bank is because the charging stands and even USB ports found around a place like an airport can actually be hijacked to steal data from your phone. Not sure how often it happens but it’s definitely possible and not unheard of. Best ways to avoid it are bringing a power bank or using your own cube plugged into a power outlet.

years of working at the airport i learned that with specific airlines you need more time. I would also like to add for a couple good tips, if u are not checking a bag(putting the bag under the plane) u can download the airlines mobile app to check in to get your mobile boarding pass and proceed through security. Also a very important note that some terminals have multiple security checkpoints that lead to the same concourse so ask around ( sometimes there is a checkpoint with 4 people in it opposed to 43)

Pro tip: you have to at least be there 2 hours before the flight, if you're in a hurry. 3-4 hours is recommended since you can settle down at the airport, maybe eat lunch/dinner, and do shopping.

An personal tip of mine. Check with tour banks to see if your credit card gives you free VIP lounge access. This way you go there for free, gets more comfort while waiting, FREE FOOD (and good quality food), free drinks and so on.
