io just bought one and love it, 40miles so far in 3 days
got new grips, seat and stem extender now the bike almost where i what it,

I just bought my Aventon Aventure 2 e-bike just a little over a month ago. The bike rides fine on flat land or in the foothills. I took the bike to the 3, 000 foot elevation and gradually climbed a paved mountain road for 8 miles. My bike started chugging really bad and the hub motor started making noise. I changed the battery to see what would happen. The hub motor was still making noise. I had to either coast or peddle non-assist 8 miles back to my car. I only had 67 miles on the bike. I took my bike back to the bike store and the bike mechanic there said that I needed a new hub motor and wheel. Good thing Aventon has a two year warranty. All in all my friend’s Walmart Hyper $600.00 250 watt motor mountain e-bike made it up the hill and mine didn’t. His bike put mine to shame that day.

It looks like a really interesting e-bike that I happen to have a Jetson bolt pro and there are times I probably would want one that's a bit faster and longer that mostly I go for a class 2 that with pedal assist and frontal especially handling hills where I live and still want to take it on bike paths.

What are your thoughts on someone trying to learn how to ride again after quitting at 7 years old.
Now 21. Training wheels or just winging it?

The aventon aventure 2 in black gets no love, I swear. I'm trying to go get that model and color sometime this year.

Does it still have the delay in the motor to engage. That is my only negative to our Adventures.
