Hey-TheThings fans! Welcome back to another video. The Twilight Saga took the world by storm when it premiered in 2008 and changed what we all thought we knew about vampires. With the added angsty love triangle between Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black, fans across the globe became obsessed with the franchise. The Twi-hards were born!

However, none of this would have been possible without the effort that went into the first film from the cast and crew, especially director Catherine Hardwicke. So what made the first film - Twilight - so special?

Summit Entertainment and the cast in the film were new off the scene, which means besides Stephenie Meyers fanbase the film didn’t have much recognition while in production. Therefore their budget was extremely tight - but maybe that only brought the cast and crew closer together!

In this video, we’re showing you some of the best behind the scenes and cute moments between the cast that’ll have Twilight fans reeling at how their favorite film was brought to life. From the visual effects and practical effects to Rob and Kristen’s very awkward chemistry test, Twilight was unique both on and off the screen.

Between the special effects coordinator who was able to make the movie possible despite its low budget and a dedicated cast and crew, they were able to pull it off.

I, believe it or not, actually spoke to Robert Pattinson a couple of times a few months ago and he was the nicest, most down to earth guy you could imagine. He's reserved but very nice. It's sad that things didn't work out for them in the end but young love just is that way so frequently

Such an amazing creative film. Never did I think that someone like myself at my age could get caught up in a vampire saga…and I now own the saga on dvd. I’ve watched it several times and still it fascinates me. The characters, the story, the sound, the photography. I thank all of you who contributed to these films.
It’s funny I took my granddaughter camping at age 8 and while it was raining this was the best thing I had in the camper for her to watch. I thought her mother would kill me. I figured she would not understand it so I let her watch it with me and of course she seemed to understand everything. The way she talked was so endearing about the good vampires LOL. She was not afraid.
