I have a leopard gecko he’s one of the more common ones but he has a bit purple on his back and a lot of purple on his tail.

I originally fell in love with frogs, specifically whites tree frogs, went to go purchase one, couldn’t find it, and fell in love with a bearded dragon
Since then I’ve found what I want to do with my life which is become a herpetologest and get into breeding reptiles
After I got Mushu, the beardie, I was just lizard obsessed. I ended up getting a leopard gecko named Loki. I got her from a breeder and did think it out decently, I did most research saw people said it was one of the best beginner pets for handling but somehow never came across the fact they were nocturnal
Needless to say i love both my lizards and they’ve definately changed my life, if you have a 20-40 gallon laying around and you’re looking for a beginner reptile to adopt, I’d definitely suggest a Leo. Very sweet, friendly but can be shy creatures
Not to mention the adorable hunting face
