Leopard Gecko Morphs

Not all, but most of the leopard gecko morphs that you're likely to encounter, as well as a selection of some of the most popular 'designer' combos. There is such a huge variety of leopard gecko morphs that a video containing them all would be virtually impossible to make, so in this video I've tried to include what I would consider to be the most popular ones.

Wild type are just as adorable and perfect as they are. All these "morphs" are nice to look at but at what cost to the animals well fare? especially all the inbreeding that is done to produce them. I know they are blessed with robust genes but for example the Lemon Frosts are riddled with tumours. The Enigmas require specialised care as they are unable to feed, move or shed properly unassisted and their condition worsens with time. All my babies from wild type parents are just as beautiful without the defects.

I gots myself a Blazing Blizzard Eclipse, very good geck, mind their lighting though, their eyes are really sensitive in albinos and eclipses and red lights or sudden bright lights can damage or even blind them. I would also like to note that in general eclipses vision is impaired and they may require help with food. Their depth and location perception are horribly off and they generally cannot tell when there is glass or another clear barrier around them. You may also find that eclipses hide mom than other morphs mostly due to light sensitivity and blizzards and other albino morphs have very sensitive skin so be sure to keep an eye on shedding, and make sure that lighting isn’t too warm, and isn’t too bright with UV or you can sunburn the geckos. Blizzards are especially at risk for mbd so please make sure to have calcium supplements. And due to poor eyesight please keep small fine substrates out of eclipse containers as they can mistake them for food, injest them, and potentially get impaction based on substrate type. NEVER use carpet substrate. Opt for soil, geckos especially females, like to dig. In the spring and early summer they may dig more, this is because they are ovulating be sure to inspect their stomach if female. Never cohab Leo’s unless for breeding purposes. Temporary confirmed female 2 gecko tanks are ok. But never ever cohab 2 males or a male and female (unless your breeding and prepared for eggs and babies).

i was told my gecko was a firefox cross but she looks just like that tangerine picture

I think mine is a high-yellow but she’s a darker yellow (lots of spots on head and tail with almost none in between)
