Even if you are not baptized, you are a part of the body of believers...just like the thief at the cross who was not baptized, but Jesus said, "today, you will be with me."...He may not become a member of an "ecclesiastical" or body or church..here on earth, but he became a child of God.

If you are a born again Christian, you become a child of God, not a baptist, so believers, including those who call themselves batists are all forerunners as children of God...consider this "to fulfill all righteousness" means our admission that as sinners saved by grace thru faith in Christ, we are dead to sin becoz Jesus took our sins, buried, and resurrected. During this ceremony of water baptism we identify with Jesus and are resurrected as new creations, born again persons. Hence, we possess with us as believers the same "resurrection power" of God when He resurrected Jesus from the dead.
