Exploring Lviv, the most romantic city of Ukraine

Lviv (Lvov) – the city of "sleeping lions" which has changed them throughout its long history. Nowadays Lviv remains one of the most beautiful, charming and mysterious cities of Eastern Europe. It was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List for its monuments to the past and architecture. Lviv or «Lion's city», was named by its founder - the Galycian-Volynian king Danylo Galytsky, in honour of his son Lev.
