Coldplay are one of my favourite alternative bands. You should check out Viva La Vida Anton Corbijn version. Anton Corbijn directed the whole video and the whole band dedicated it to Anton Corbijn and Depeche Mode (The vid for enjoy the silence.) Chris Martin the lead singer is a huge fan who said Depeche was a huge influence

I love this song. I don't know a whole lot of Coldplay but they have a few songs I like. Yellow is the first song I heard by them definitely got played alot in my late teen years. Another song I like by the is called "Magic" the music video for that one is good too. They have a video for their song "Higher Power" that reminds me of a cross between Blade runner and Captain EO. That's a good one too.

But Fix You is definitely my favorite of theirs.
