I dont remember where I got my beauty rings, but they are stainless, and fit perfectly. My hub caps are original, Re chromed, real triple chrome. I send some picts.

If you don't want to spend $230 for white walls, I just buy cheap regular 165/15 tires and put the port-o-walls on them. The cost $60 for a set of 4, 15". you can look at them on my channel if you want to see. Awesome Video on wheels and tires!

What color Rustolem paint did you use on rims? I have a 67 Beetle with the off-white or almond, or cream (whatever it is) and black two-one wheels. I need to paint them. Thanks

I bought a new 1969 model and a new 1972 model when I was in college. I remember no wide white wall tires back in the mid to late sixties on Volkswagens that were current to that era.. Wide whites was a 50s' thing. White walls were dealer optional and were about 1 inch.wide I don' think that these are authentic to the 60s' or at least from mid 60s' on although they do look ok. Stock OEM is a better look for the year bug that you are working with.. That said, I have black walls on my 66 with chromed stock looking wheels and correct flat hub stock caps. I have the original date coded 66 wheels that I mean to have blasted and powder coated correct two tone one of these days.. Please forgive me for being a purist.
