Thank you for making this. I'm gonna have to just link this video each time someone posts a wheel/tire question on Tacomaworld from now on

Most comprehensive and helpful video I have seen on the topic. I have had to watch it over a number of times taking note in order to capture all the information. Well done! Thanks so much for putting in this awesome effort. I feel I can confidently purchase my all terrain tires now for my Tacoma TRD Sport 4 door long bed. So important as there is no product available anywhere near me and I need to have these shipped from a great distance. I need to get it right the first time, including the decision on lift or not. Thank you from Newfoundland Canada!

Thanks for the video - you mention that typically you don't see a positive offset on Tacoma, but all the TRD Pro Wheels I see have a positive offset. Either +4 or +5. Looking for a zero offset.

I want to put KMC wheels on my truck mostly because that’s my initials haha. Will they work with my TPMS or will I have a warning on my dash all the time? 2013 base 4x4 double cab. Great video thanks.

Just purchased the TRD wheels for my FJ Cruiser. Any ideas if I can fit 295/70r17s with a 3 inch lift without cutting the body mount?

Can you calibrate the speedometer yourself or take it to a shop? And have someone calibrate it for you

just bought a brand new 2023 sr5 4x4 tacoma. it has 245 75/r16 firestone destination le2 with the dark rim. i find the truck sitting lower than i like.used to the 1500 ram i traded in.i find i have to tilt my head to get into the tacoma also not crazy about the dark rims.would like to switch the rims to a crome color and put on tires that will raise the truck without having to install a lift kit ....any suggestions ?

See my previous comments on the outstanding job you have done with this. Awesome! I have just one comment: you say that the speedometer will be off when you change the tire size to a bigger tire - off course I agree with that. But you say the speedometer will show less speed than actual. After change to bigger tire but Before calibration, Wouldn’t the truck think it has smaller tires therefore for each rotation of the tire it would think it travelled the shorter circumference of the tire and therefore read a slower speed (less travelled per rotation). The larger tire should have travelled further in a single rotation and therefore the actual speed would be slightly greater than the speedometer reading. I.e. for the same rpm you are going further, therefore your speedometer is reading less than actual? I am not sure. Just wanted to put the question out there. Thanks again for awesome and vital content! Cheers
