Quite nice that Thai Airways is exploring the feasibility of bringing back the A380s in light of increased tourists in Thailand too! Hopefully, the A380s eventually fly the Purple, Gold, and Red colors of the Thai flagship carrier again!

I knew it. Those A380s from Thai Airways are not retired last year. Hopefully those A380s will come back into service soon

A380 really is an aircraft before its time. It is unparalleled in both capacity and comfort.

I for see Airbus manufacturing the A380 or a replacement of similar capacity if more airlines start operating the A380 again

The ups and downs of a380 news..
Tomorrow..more disappointing news.
Malaysian flew one of their a380's to Tarbes France.. yesterday..
Not a good sign ..
The site is known for dismantling aircraft... highly unlikely to return to service..
Singapore airlines is not using a380's to cover for the delay in the 7779 program, instead going with 777 300ER's..!!

They are going to have to restart production of the A380

THAI has six 380’s but 4 of them are supposedly being returned to lessors. They are considering putting the two remaining planes back in service as demand has increased significantly and they sold all 10 of their 747’s within the past year.

I flew the Thai A380 on a return BKK-NRT flight in 2019 and it was glorious. Absolutely loved it, so I hope Thai brings them back. With PER now having a direct rail link, it'll make things even better when going to BKK from PER.

It's an aircraft that is very sensitive to economic conditions. It's profitable only when it's full or close to it. If they're coming back into service, then that is a good indicator for the health of the global economy.

Smooth as Silk 💜 TG to reinstate their A380s is great news for a wonderful aircraft

I wish them well with the A380. Running that aircraft consistently profitably has been elusive for nearly every airline other than Emirates.

Bring back 747s too! I miss the Queen of the Skies big time.

It’s never going to be anything but a niche airplane for VERY niche routes. And they’re never going to build any more of them.

I hope Thai brings them back! I love their livery, and the A380's look gorgeous in it. I'm also hoping the 747's will come back, but I seriously doubt that happening, sadly. But who knows.

Really hope they bring back the 747 too!

I’ve flown on the A380 over 5 times with British Airways over the past year. I’ve flown the A380 the most in 2022 than any other year.
