What Is The UAC? (Before You Play DOOM Eternal)

Across multiple games and over nearly three decades, DOOM as a franchise has kept changing and changing back, and so, too, having various aspects of its story, settings, characters, and more.

But some things have been constant, and these are things that, regardless of which DOOM era you look at, you will find to have made a mark with their strong and constant presence. One of these things is the Union Aerospace Corporation, or the UAC.

So wait, if UAC became hell worshippers and actively helped them with augmented demons (cultist base, Deag Ranak & station with BFG-10K), why didn't doomslayer attack UAC personnel once he arrived on station? And yes, why in 2016 UAC soldiers and demons had a fight before Slayer woke up?

There's something great about that dr Haydn in the opening. Doesn't ask who this dude is, then watched him crawl of a sarcophagus he was chained in for who knows how long. And thought anyone that made it back out of something like that and did not want to kill everything living you came across...

Doom 3 did more to flesh out the UAC than any other game. You just had to take time to take in all the different ways the game was trying to tell you.
