I've had over 23 cars in my lifetime. I'm 43 years old. From Benz and beamer to Toyota corolla. My alltime most dependable car I've ever owned is my 2008 Toyota corolla. Now at 43 and did it all to show off. All I want is a corolla. I've even had lowriders and donks. Corolla is my car of choice. 318k and still in high fair condition. I've even drove it with NO oil to test it.

I have a 2006 corolla, with 237007 miles. I use it as my daily driver and to deliver for dominos on weekends. Ice cold AC, tranny shifts like a dream, no fluid leaks. 30.8 avg mpg city and highway. This car won't die!!

Running a 2007 Corolla with 274000Km mileage, still runs like a charm!
Repair/replacements in my 9 month ownership:
front suspensions
alternator
battery
minor exhaust leak repair
pully tensioner
serpentine belt

spent around 1500-1600$ so far but still very happy with performance and reliability

My 2007 Corolla CE just hit 153, 000 miles. These cars are tanks and will go forever with basic maintenance. I don’t drive it as much anymore but it’s a great car and has been in my family ever since it was new

I love this, obviously, because I have a 2007 Corolla that I bought last year! I only had to replace the battery and brakes and it is good to go! I got it with about 60, 000+ miles on it. So happy I bought it!

2009-2013 Corollas. Last ones before the CVT. They have the AUX jack which can easily be used with a Bluetooth handsfree receiver to take calls and play music from phone. They have very comfortable seats too.

I paid 3500 for my 2005 in 2012 at 120k miles. 270k now and I just made my first non-maintenance repair - a valve cover gasket. I buy all of my replacement parts from Toyota. I figure if it lasted 200k+, why would I buy an aftermarket?

I have an AE101 Corolla that was made in 1991. It runs great. Uses a 5A-FE 1.5L engine. It's not as good on gas mileage as a Nissan AD Wagon that uses a 1.3 engine but hey, it's got decent horsepower and torque so I won't complain. Got mine for about $3, 000 USD.

My 2010 with 246k miles gets avg 40mpg highway. Never done anything besides basic maintenance and a few small repairs

QUESTIONS:
What happen to the reliability of Ford, Chevrolet, GMC?
Why are there no American car companies that are reliable and well-built?

I have a 2007 corolla with 195, 000 miles and is running great. I can replace just about everything on the car except engine and transmission. My son has a 2006 with 286, 000 miles and runs great; original engine and transmission in both. I had a 1998 corolla which was a good car but would take the 2006 and 2007 over the '98.

I prefer the older ones, I have a 1995 Corolla that gets excellent gas mileage.

I hope you realize the EPA estimated MPG ratings for cars is NOT accurate because they aren't actually driving on real roads. The real world MPG is always less than what the EPA says.
