Wonderful analysis of a work no one will read today, and even if they did, wouldn't understand. What you describe is happening right now. I hope your video goes viral. And if people want to understand what their lives will be like under farage, I would refer them to another Orwell book, Down and Out in Paris and London. No free healthcare, no social security. When cash runs out, no matter how wealthy you maybe, the street in all its cruelty is your destination. Will you survive as well as Orwell did, or will you turn into detritus washing down the drains. Orwell scared the living daylight out of me. He made me realise the thin ice on which I skated. And now I'm old, and my wife is ill after killing herself at work for 40 years, that ice is dangerously close to breaking. But hey we all have to go at some point, don't we? The question is how. Don't believe for a minute your cash or status will protect you from the icy depths. Solidarity is our only hope.

I've read 1984, Man in the High Castle, Animal Farm multiple times through the years of my life. The first time I read them, my first thought was, "Wow. This would be scary as hell in real society." The craziest part is that it very well can become reality. The mental state of people in today's world would actually fall into this very easily. Not once even remotely have the ability to think for themselves. And the possibility that they were controlled. Happily give up their freedoms for Big Brother.
