I'm a Bossk main and I use Lingering Dioxis, Trap Arming Speed, and Multi-Traps. Anytime, any place, those are the best, although I see what you're going for. HvV Multi-Traps and Trap Arming Speed are requirements!

Yes!! Bossk is my Favorite. They should bring back Dengar too tho

Bossk actually is actually top tier for HVV in my opinion. His gas is great for starting engagements by spreading out and slightly slowing the enemy team. It also reveals anyone it hits, so bossk will know exact locations to know when to use other abilities. The gas also forces lightsaber users to stop blocking and leave to stop taking damage, allowing your team to clean up the fleeing hero. Proximity Mines with the Multi-trap star card can shred most heroes health extremely low to the point that 2-3 micro-grenades will kill them. The Micro-Grenades are also great anti-jedi weapons because they ignore blocks and do ridiculous amounts of damage. The infrared vision reveals every hero nearby, so they are much easier to hunt down. Bossk has huge damage potential at every range, unlike most of the heroes, as well as being able to start nearly every engagement at peak performance levels due to his unlimited regeneration.

Bossk is rad. I got a nice little kill streak with him in GA. What is also rad is how in the games you show, guys are always standing nice and still for you!

Admittedly, you're right about Bossk being weaker in HvV matches.
Doesn't stop me and my friend from having fun in death matches against each other using him though. Then again, we tend to set specific rules at the start of arcade duels: saber heroes only, gunner heroes only, the infiltrator class only, etc.
Hell, one match we both picked characters with force push abilities and had an arcade duel where our rule was that the only way we could kill the other was by throwing them off a cliff/ledge. It was one of our dumbest ideas yet, but it was funny as hell.

For HvV I absolutely agree with Multi-Traps and Trap Arming Speed, however I suggest you try out Ultimate Predator as your third star card. To me he feels a lot stronger because Predator just won't end. This setup is a whole lot of fun if you have a very aggressive in your face kind of playstyle!
