I mean to be fair they're on a catwalk over the void, almost all lightsaber characters have a knock back move, and blaster heroes can't block them. So in all honesty Han was just playing smart with what he had, would it be annoying to be the Vader or Kylo fighting him? Immensely. Is he wrong for playing Han that way in this situation? Absolutely not

They were probably level 3s or something. I once played a showdown as max Obi-Wan and the matchmaking genuinely put me against a level 1
