I play BF2 pretty consistently in the age of the republic and get full games pretty often, and i do play on ps5. Something ive found is that you may just need to change your server when you search for a game. This has helped me find games when my default server is not getting any games.

Crossplay would have definitely given this game a lot more time of being alive. As a PC player in the US who plays during peak hours, I still rarely find games. The majority of the active players are on Xbox. If crossplay had been added then there'd be more than enough players to keep lobbies open.

one mode i’ve always wanted to see but never got is an order 66 mode and it’s pretty much a team of all jedi VS the clones. clones have an infinite amount of reinforcements, and the Jedi have a limited amount and have to survive for a certain amount of time

I still play daily, I’ve been unemployed the past month, so I play at some odd hours. I’ve found that during work/school hours is the only time I have to wait to fill out a lobby. I prefer galactic assault, starfighter assault, supremacy, and heros and haven’t had issues finding a lobby quickly any time after 3pm. Love the community

Thanks for the video! I’m 29 and have been a SW fan my whole life. I’ve played tons of Star Wars games and I love them all, but hot take this is my favorite SW game of all time. It just always scratches the itch when I want to immerse myself into that galaxy. This game deserves much more recognition and praise than it gets.

The one singular thing I wish they added was a realism mode where every gun was one shot per button push, but it was locked in first person with no HUD, and everything was an instant kill on regular troops and there were no heroes. As realistic as you could get without breaking the game in a bad way. Try it in arcade, assault only, one shot health, no hud and just tap the trigger for single shots. It's a VERY different feeling from the rest of the game, period.

There's definitely some things that the side battle on Geonosis has that can be and does interact with the main player battle. More than a few times I've been sniped by one of the big spider droids.

I started playing battlefront 2 when covid hit, which is unfortunately after they stopped updating it. I was addicted to this game during the lockdown and this brought back some memories (I know covid wasn't that long ago but I still felt some nostalgia)

YES!! This is honestly no different on the console versions (PS5). That’s why this game needed a SERVER BROWSER like the Battlefield series has. But it’s too much of a casual game for EA / DICE to even care about it.

I will NEVER forgive EA / DICE for what they did to this game and how they left it.

But do we need a Battlefront III? Yes, we do….. Just not by EA / DICE.
