How I Rate Books | My New Rating System

I wanted a more standardized method of rating the books I read, join me to discuss what I came up with.

My issue with rating books is that I read a really wide variety and it's difficult to create a scale that can rate (for example) travel writing, romance, and historical non-fiction on an even field.

I read Leviathan Wakes last year. Using your rating system I'd give it a 4.0 which tracks with my StoryGraph rating.
