Should i get an R1 or a V4?

I don't care what anyone says; R1 OR RSV4 are both good choices. They sound fantastic (not broken like the Ducati panigale V4 engines)

If by more special you mean it'll be in the repair shop more often than the R1 then yes go for the Aprilia, but if you want a bike you can actually ride and not worry about when it's going to break down on you then go for the R1. Plus it's an R1, enough said.

Don't worry about reliability, the Aprilia is magical machine proper v4 soundtrack.

With that said it can’t beat Yamaha’s reliability

I am not so much into sport bikes but for me get an Aprilia. If there are other bikes to choose how about bmw m 1000 rr, mv agusta superveloce or F4? Bimota, even more exotic

my friend got an Aprilia last season. He could not ride it until the season ended. classic Aprilia.

R1 will spend less time needing maintenance, already had a 24 Tuono and 24 RSV4 that I ride with having issues. Great bikes to ride but not worth the downtime imo.

First bike was a 2004 r1 going on my 3rd year after the winter...dont recommend doing what i did

If you already had an r1 then why not try owning an rsv4? i think its somewhat different than your panigale (before the crash) and to me personally it sounds really nice.
