I am a non Arab married to an Arab (he is not a Yemeni, though). 14 years ago we saw an arab man in my home country's airport (full of attractive females walking around like normally in every airports). He was wearing a humble abaya, his gaze was always down, not a single look on us or anything/anyone around us. Before my husband tried to approach him and start a conversation with him he said to me first, "This man must be a yemeni. Just so u know, from all arabs, the Yemenis are ones with the strongest imaan". And it's true later on after they had a conversation my husband confirmed he is a yemeni. I remember that to this day. My heart has always been with the Yemenis ever since the Saudi's invasion few years ago. I have always acknowledged that Saudi was the oppressor in that war and Yemen was the oppressed, even though the majority muslims at that time acted like Saudi is on the right side. And with what happening now in Gaza, it's no surprise for me what the Yemenis are doing in support of the Palestines. It is only a further affirmation that the Yemenis are the ones with the strongest imaan. I love Yemen.
