I'm from NYC and spent a semester in Berlin. I definitely miss it and wish I could move back!

This is great information! It's always interesting to hear different people's opinions on what certain cities are like and how they are viewed by the local population. You've caused me to think I need to do more research!

I lived in HH for almost two years and you are right: in summer days it is amazing. How I miss the Alster in these times!

I have to say I stumbled across your page looking for costco reviews, and have been watching your videos every day.

My wife is from Kaiserslautern (Rheinland-Pfalz) we met while I was stationed there a few years back.

Thank you for the content, and keep it coming!

Ahhh, seeing all the Köln footage is making me miss my trips to NRW! Only spent a few hours exploring Hamburg on my way back to the the west after visiting friends. Hope I'll be able to adventure through more of the country in the future 😊

Frankfurt on the Main isn't just that typical "city", where "business" runs, there is a lot of nature in the northern districts, that are most likely little villages (even it is still a city district of Frankfurt). It is just beautiful to ride your bike along the Main (river) that flows into the right tributary Nidda (river). Since 1993 the Nidda has been partially restored to its natural state and a bicycle path built along the river. For me is Frankfurt a little village, where every original Frankfurters knows their people. Sitting in Batschkapp or in a restaurant, drinking your 'Ebbelwoi' and eating your 'Handkäs mit Musik'.

Hi. From all of the cities you too presented I find Hamburg the most attractive city for my. It has water, fish, is unique. I would like to know more about the northern german cities like Bremen, Lübeck, Rostock und so wieder... Vielen Dank!

Living next to Cologne, having been living in Frankfurt for about 10 years and travelling very often to the other 3 cities for business reasons, I have to state, that this review is spot on! 😊👍
Beside Oktoberfest the biggest city events throughout the year worth mentioning are "Hafengeburtstag" in Hamburg (first weekend in may), Berlin film festival (in february) & fashion week, Frankfurt's "Museumsuferfest" and... of course... Kölner Karneval (feb/mar) & CSD (first week in july). CSD is not only for the LGBTQ-community, but very welcomed in Cologne for beeing some kind of "carnival in summer". 😁
