Winners & Losers has returned!

At long last, Winners & Losers has returned! Finally it's time for CITIES, after many years of comments suggesting it as a topic. This one was surprisingly difficult, given how loose the definition of a city can be, and the inconsistencies that this causes.

Some of the sources raised eyebrows, especially the ones that discuss public transportation. I personally lived in Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Toronto. Also go to NYC and London quite often. I disagree with how they say HK has better public transportation compared to Tokyo but still understand it. But Toronto better than Tokyo for public transits ? That’s just not gonna be true in 100 years.

Honestly with how big Tokyo is, I really am amazed at how it is nearly always at the top of the rankings.

I remember being around 9 or 10 when the first episode of this series came out. Really helped me grow my interest in geography! Happy to see you’re still working on these kind of videos, too! Your channel is a prime example of quality over quantity.

Considering its size and density it’s amazing that Tokyo is so safe. I have been there a few times and have never felt threatened by anything or anyone. Wonderful city. And the most Michelin stars ⭐️

Fun fact: the region with the highest Michelin stars per capita is Spain’s Basque Country (33 stars for a 3.1 million population, 1 per 94.000 inhabs). Go to San Sebastian or anywhere else in Euskadi and you’ll be amazed. And I am not Basque myself, but these guys are the best foodies.

Regardless of the picture used for show São Paulo is actually from Santos (a important costal city in the state of São Paulo) this video is really great. I wasn't notified about this one but I'm very happy that we had our cities video. Thank you WonderWhy

I'm honestly shocked that Tokyo is only at #7 at best public transit... Having used it on multiple trips I'm always massively impressed. Should be a huge indicator at how good the top 5 are.
