As an English person of 40+ years I have literally no idea where the British girl is from. Her accent is wandering all over the place between Aussie/California-twang, up-speak and somewhere roughly kind of in a place I couldn't guess in England.

Ah yes we all know the USA: New York, the “south desert”, California and Alaska. You covered it all.

I love how the British girl acted like she knew more about American customs than the American😂

As a Southern American, I feel I must correct your misconceptions about Southern geography and climate. You're confusing the topography of the Southeast, more commonly called the South, with that of the Southwest. The Southeast, which extends southward from Virginia to the tip of Florida, and westward to Texas, is, by and large, one of the greenest and most fertile regions of the country. For example, Eastern Tennessee, where I live, is home to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which has been named a World Biosphere by the UN because of the extraordinary variety a plant life that grows here. Indeed, more different tree species grow in the American South than in all of Europe. The transition to a western climate, i.e. more arid and desert-like, occurs in Texas approximately an hour's drive west of Fort Worth. East of Fort Worth and Dallas, the terrain remains primarily green, rolling hills, as seen across the South. West of those cities one begins to encounter a dryer climate, with less vegetation, and more expansive vistas. Just FYI. 😊

For anyone who is curious, the person who broke all those weird laws, was Tom Scott, absolutely look him up on youtube

Find Wales.

American: It's in the ocean.

Technically correct, but not the answer we were going for.

Just to let you know, the Brits are not too far behind us in obesity. We are rank17th in obesity.

"Old rich people know there's the south and it's all deserty"

Ahem...South West is deserty (and even that is only marginally more accurate)....The South east is forests, mountains, wetlands, swamps, grasslands, etc. The South is not deserty. It's quite literally the opposite. In fact, the Southern US has one of the greatest biodiversities globally (it's in the top 5-10, IIRC).

UK girl: "No. We're more aware of your geography than you are of ours! We know the south looks deserty."

No, ma'am.
