X01 is very robust and can handle shifting under load. It’s super smooth and precise. GX is good enough for most but X01 is cream of the crop.

6:53 that's nice I always thought you could not shift down more than one gear. good to know, cus I heard alot of missinformation, and Sram does not market multiple downshifts.

You can use a left hand match maker on the right side to achieve this. I have to do that with sram brakes and also the hope ones due to liking my brake far in a the shifter close to the grip

My XO 1 has over a year too, I've gone up to the 36t Eagle chainring now, I may try the 38t next, Nino Schurder is experimenting with a 40t.. if you want to get the full use out of the big cassette gear, the bigger chainring is the way to do it, unless you like riding below walking speed. More top end, wider gearing, less shifting, more torque, less tire spin, more traction, is what you get in all gears with a bigger chainring.
I've never dropped a chain using the Sram chainrings, Eagle is designed as a unit, if its good enough for Nino its good enough for me, or anybody..
