This is exactly what I get with the same color in and out. I choose non XT version because my daily commute is about 100mi so MPG and reability is more important to me than performance.

My daughter and son-in-law are out shopping for one this weekend. There in the market for a slightly used one. They have a Crosstrek so I guess it's true once you go Subaru you never go back.

is the Onyx trim a good pick of Outback? to me the Onyx has dual X-mode and better fuel economy of the entire lineup..

Test drive all the wagons?? Are there actually other wagons out there? Also.... She's screaming for a Turbo! The poor thing. (Yes, I know that's an option. Just sad that you don't get one on the trim level that's over $40K.)

Interesting.. Our Subaru vehicles(WRXs/STis/Tribeca) in the past have had, very hot seats. This also includes our current 2020 STI. Dare I say, on par with my Audi vehicles of the past, and current S4.

im curious.. with all the other cars youve tested that rival the outback.... where would you place the sabaru outback ONXY XT... in terms of quality vs its competitors?

Does the 2024 Wilderness have the Gen 4 triple camera Eyesight system?
Also is the Touring XT noticeably quieter and more refined than the Wilderness?
I will be ordering an Outback without test-driving, so need as much information as possible.

Why an Outback over a Forester ( besides the turbo engine option)?

Subaru Engineer humor: Putting a reminder to "keep your eyes on the road" in a large pop graphic in the middle of your dash. (Not like there is anywhere else to put it, but I still gawk when my big warning pops up as the temp drops to 37F). How did that 0-60 time stack up to the Forester (non-Wilderness)? I drove a 2.5 Outback, 2.4T Outback, then a Forester back-to-back-to-back. Maybe the Outback is more insulated from the engine noise/road, but when trying to merge onto a 60 mph highway via a ramp with a bit of incline, the Outback seemed more strained vs the Forester. It also seemed less nimble. But it sure comes with a step up in features. Consumer Reports noted a couple things of interest. The Outback headlights scored lower for straight ahead low beam vs Forester, and reliability is "average" on Outbacks. (BTW, the 2024 annual car issue has arrived!) Great job with the review. Where did you do the roadside shot with that cool bridge in the background?
