Counter Strike 2 Full Screen Fix / Native Resolution Fix

In this Video I will Teach you guys how to force set your resolution to 1920x1080 native resolution for fullscreen on CS2.

Note: The Numbered Folder 445080269 is my STEAM ID FOLDER, you can look for your own STEAMID Folder then proceed to 730 folder.

for those that struggle to find the right number, your folder number will not match with the video because its your steamid and nobody has the same, just look for the 730 folder :)

For the ones (like me) that has 75hz monitor, change the option to "74973" the default option (59954) makes the game run 60hz.

As other people said, every folder has a different name in the "userdata" folder, you gotta find one with a folder called "730" in it and the cs2_video txt inside that folder. It's a pain in the ass.

To others: solution is changing HDMI to DisplayPort. Then u have FHD and refreshing options. There is no other way to do that not upscaling resolution in game.

I've seen launch options like -w 1920 -h 1080 -freq 240 and it did work but I was hoping for like an actual fix. Tbh, it's kind of a joke that you it's still not fixed after release...

still on wrong resolution, its 1920 x 1080 on the TXT file but ingame is 1600x900
and it takes the wrong frame rate, i hate this game

The res in my text doc is already set to 1920x1080, but my in game resolution is still 1600x900? solution?

If this doesn't work for you try changing from HDMI to Display Port or changing to a different HDMI cable. Changing to Display Port worked for me.

The fact that we managed to return full hd is cool, but there is still a problem with the refresh rate. if there is a way to make it at least 75 Hz, please make a video about it. Still, in CS2 the refresh rate plays an important role in the win rate.

why does your graphics look so low? Tut? And plus im having troubles with resolution... if i go 4:3, the lowest possible resolution is the only one available... plus there is no resolutions showing in widescreen 19:10

none of this work, the only solution is to run game on vulkan, but then game runs like shit, cuz it is not designed to run on vulkan, so you are screwed regardless, wait for patch

it did work for me, but my sensitivity felt cursed, because when I moved my mouse slowly while peeking, the game doesn't even react and it's uncomfortable to play (when I change the resolution to other it's working normally)

it’s works but. in game setting maximum resolution is 1600X900. and when i’m trying to set 60 hrz to 144 hrz it still going on 1600X900 resolution. :((( any recommendations?
