For some reason, the game refuses to allow my 1920x1440 custom res as Full Screen.
It only shows it as an option as fullscreen windowed (which uses more resources on the desktop apps).

my monitor has 144 hz but it only gives mt 60hz

Is there a reason why I cant change my refresh rate whilst having a stretched... Locks me on 60hz even my monitor is 165hz..

for me when i go to 4:3 it says 60hz on every single resolution even though I have a 144hz monitor

for those after applying stretched resolutions and getting 60fps cap, all you have to do is restart CS2 and then the other options will be available

I have 2 Screens, one is 4k and one is FullHd (1080p) and whenever i Alt-Tab on my other screen and try to tab back into CS2 it gets dark for a second and loads and closes itself all the time.
How do i get rid of this?

in my nvidia control panel, i cant change the scaling mode to fullscreen because its greyed out

FOR ALL THE 4K NERDS LIKE ME. Set your custom resolution to 2880 x 2160. As he said, it'll pop up in CS2 after you make a custom one, and won't unless you do. When playing stretched, you're essentially "stretching" a resolution, and the typical 4:3 is 75% of the actual resolution of the monitor. Stop thinking about it and trust me. 😆

Guys why when i switch on stretched it really looks like 800x600 no matter if 1920x1440 or other settings.. it really looks really bad and somehow zoomed in... I am Playing on a 2560x1440 27 inch monitor.

Mine didn’t work until I switched from display to gpu for some reason so if your having issues that may work for you

i wanted to play 1600x1200 4:3 144hz, but couldn't. in Nvidia settings this resolution was locked at 75hz (my monitor's minimum), so i've created custom resolution 1600x1200 and put 144hz on this and since then i was able to choose it in cs2 menu

im playng cs 1 1440*1080 with 144hz refresh rate
i did the same thing in cs 2 but i cant change the refresh rate to 144hz it has only 60hz ...
