If you are here since the last driver update for nvidia, u gotta create a custom resolution then it works fine on your hertz.

problem is in the latest version of nvidia! I made a video on my channel explaining the solution.

what worked for me was changing "perform scalling" from Display to GPU on the nvidia control panel

Not working 1600x1200 but it works on 1400x1050. I mean u can put it but u gonna sutil have 60hz

People i just find the solution, sorry for my English, I just installed a previous version for the Nvidia driver 552.22 on its website, it returned 4:3 165 hz as my monitor

happened to me as well (after updating the driver), fixed it by changing my scaling from DISPLAY to GPU.

OR

You can just revert your driver back to the previous version.

I have a problem when i use the hz that I choose and then I change settings page, it goes back to 60 hz. What should I do?

how do i fix hz problem? i have tried the freq command and the -w 1920 -h 1080 -freq 60 -fullscreen command, my screen cant handle more than 59.94 hz and now i cant fix it.
