Nice tutorial but it does not let you know how to change the tempo as intimated in the title. The manual--like all software manuals--is focuses mostly on what can be done and not how (worthless). Can you share how to, say, modify the tempo of part of an audio clip? Changing the BPM fails and the Tap Tempo ruins the clip. I realize that Ableton is not primarily designed for audio editing, but it appears to have some powerful audio editing features.

Love how you said "if it doesn't work, I'll show you how to change it manually" and then you don't...

Hello, what do we do to simply, physically change the speed of a single sound/sample assuming it does not do it automatically? I was a sound to last longer, and need to drag it out.

not quite what I wanted to know, do you know how I can record my voice with the track going slow so when I put the track at normal speed my voice will be going fast, like it would if I was recording onto a tape

When I drop samples with different speed in it, the audio does sound a bit weird, broken and not as it should be. Could you tell me why? Is it because of the complexity of some samples?

Samples sounds like a 2009 lil wayne banger

Can you not adjust yourself the speed?

Not very helpful when it comes to external samples that don't match the beat initially and you want to stretch or compress to adjust.

I want to re pitch my older tracks from 440 to 432 hz. Im trying to find the easiest and quickest way to get it back to its original bpm. Im using re pitch but do i speed up the bpm of track first or re pitch first then speed up?. I understand i will need to move warp markers cos ableton isnt perfect so i want to do as little as pos. I dont do detune as it adds unwanted artifacts to my low end.

Ive now started producing in 432 from the start. if i have kicks in 440 i will repitch it first before plonking them into my arrangment.

Now i was abit clever with one of my caustic tracks i change the tempo from 145 to 147 so when i exported the stems and re pitched each stem -1.818 bpm... its close but id like to be 100% accurate! thou i do slice up songs for session view and i warp everything to beats so i can play my set at the same bpm. I just want my album to consistant thou!

Title should be reversed. This is how to change the pitch and maintain speed, not change the speed and maintain pitch.
