It reminds me a little of Chaos in the Old world, which is great news for me as that is my favorite game of all time. Cannot wait for this!

This was a great overview. Too bad the full tutorial was never made, as this game really could use a gentler introduction than the rulebook(s) provide. An interesting aspect of the game is that the mechanics are very simple and streamlined once you get over the substantial hump of the initial learning curve. That first game can be overwhelming to some though.

Hey Rodney! I've been binge watching your show to get ideas on what game to pick up next (I'm leaning towards Super Dungeon Explore. It's just so expensive). I just got Forbidden Star. I hope you are still planning on doing a play through. I'd really like to see this in action to get a better idea of how the game is played. I love huge grandiose board games that take skill, startegy, and luck. Throw in a ton of minis and I'm all in. This game looks awesome.

it's a shame you didn't finish this :) I know it's not going to be printed but it doesn't mean that there arent players that would love to see your review. For example, i just ordered the game and would love to see some info on how to play it from you....

Will the detailed explanation still follow?

I just received the game and will be learning the game rules shortly. However, having a video tutorial will help with introducing the game to our gaming group.
