Thrustmaster Wheel QR Fix using Sealant tape

Thrustmaster QR system needs a screw to hold the wheel tight, using screw sometimes causes dents in the wheel. While searching for an alternative found a teflon or sealant tape which was able to hold the wheel tightly without creating dents in the wheel.

nice idea. I never liked how the original systems screw would damage to wheel hub. How easy is it to un-screw the wheel from the base with the sealant tap installed?
