A big week with SpaceX Starship Stacked and Tested, NASA SLS Rolls to the Pad, and a Record Falcon 9 landing. You know how SpaceX rapidly stacked Ship 20 for Elons 2022 presentation before it was rapidly destacked? Well, this week, it looks like we have finally progressed further for some more major testing. A beautiful milestone for SpaceX’s 20 years of existence just this week. The Space Launch System rolled out of the VAB on its way to the pad on the incredible NASA crawler. Astra roared off the pad again, but did they reach orbit this time? We have a space walk on the ISS capturing magnificent footage of Kayla and Raja in action, an update on Mark Vande Hei’s return on Soyuz, something that has been getting a lot of attention in the media. Then of course Starlink takes flight again as we also explore related news around the network.

Marcus there are a lot of people following Space X and other systems, some filled with hype, clickbait titles, and even dubious conclusions. I just wanted to say thanks for doing this the way you do. Trusted information, you let me know when things are conjecture. You are one of my more trusted sources of information on launch systems progress.

Keeping up to date with Starship progress is what drew me to this channel in the first place, and it continues to inspire me. But I'm also really excited to see the progress with JWST. By looking into the early universe, it could yield some of the largest breakthroughs in physics to date. Can't wait!

It's not just the advances in tech, that inspires the imagination, it's a beautiful ship. The rate of development is astonishing. Humanity needed SpaceX, if only to rekindle our collective imagination of future possibilities

I'm so happy to see Astra getting successful launches. Now I really hope to see them go on to be financially successful too, it's so great to have all those different companies, with different phylosophies going to space. Let's see which others join them.

Thank you for another great video. It's kind of a quiet week for space, except for Astra and that spacewalk on the ISS.

The James Webb Space Telescope is truly a wonder. The sheer precision of those mirrors is a testament to the capability of modern technology. They're dealing with alignment error margins smaller than the wavelength of the incoming light!

The rotation of the grid fin wasn’t for a test; it was to clear access for the swing-out access platform on the end of the arm.

I was at the Artemis rollout on Thursday and it was the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen! I wish YouTube allowed me to upload photos to share. Even with all the delays, I’m super excited for the new moon missions with Artemis! Thanks again for another great video, Marcus! Best space coverage channel in the game! Cheers!

In regards to DoD working with SpaceX, there was already a program from DARPA trying to put a Starlink receiver on fighter jets to provide more resilient communications. I think there is a general consensus in the defense realm that in any major war going forward, exquisite satellites are likely to be targeted in the opening phases of war. Given that we rely on them so much, we needed to find another way to ensure our space based communications and intelligence couldn't be taken out with only a few ASATs.
