Fender amp are some of the best sounding amps ever

I bought a '72 Silverface Princeton Reverb when I was in 8th grade (in 1978) for $80 and for years I hated it because it lacked the kind of volume I wanted. I always wanted a Marshall. I used this amp for years gigging all over New England. I remember once being at a late gig and it was snowing like crazy. I tossed the amp in the back of my truck that was full of snow and drove home in the storm. It still works fine to this day and now that I am old and only play in the studio and in my garage I am so glad I didn't trade this little amp for something bigger/louder.

I have a 1966 Fender Princeton non reverb. Best pedal platform ever! Mic it and you wouldn’t know it’s not a 4 x 12 back stage.

I still have a 1964 Fender Vibro champ that my grandpa gave me. It's a great little amp

I’d recognize that room any day. He’s at carters vintage. Amazing shop with so many unique instruments.

I'd take that Gretsch as well if I were you. That combo sounds Have a heartbreaking story about a real first gen Princeton (sorry don't remember year). My best friend's Dad played as a pro since the early 50's. He passed in 1981 and left my friend all his gear. Over the years he found new homes for a lot of the gear and ended up keeping a couple great guitars and the one Princeton as he only played occasionally. Few years back, decided to do some work on the Princeton and took it apart. While waiting for some online parts to arrive had left it in a box in a few peices. Once the parts all arrived, one weekend went downstairs to his shop and couldn't find the box with the amp. After looking with no success, asked the GF if she'd seen it. Ended up she figured it was junk and tossed it out with the garbage the week before. Oh he was Pisssed!! Needless to say, they're no longer together.

I have a 100w Fender Mustang III, and it sounds awesome. Glad I bought it. I can make it sound just like the video

Kudos Rhett, the Princeton is absolutely a baseline amp--every other amp has to justify its reason for existing when the Princeton's perfect combination of size and tone is always available

Have the Vibrato and Reverb cranked, and still can't stop shaking that damned guitar. Its like a tic at this point I think.

Love my original 1965 Princeton Reverb. Bought from a guy for $100 30 years ago. Without a doubt my favorite amp! ❤

I have one exactly like that 1968 Princeton reverb. Sustained water damage and needs TLC
