This might surprise some, but today I review a Victory MKI Kraken. A 50 watt lunchbox amp that has some things going for it, and some things working against it.

There was a big hole in your video list after you pulled the original video. I'm glad you decided to fill that Kraken.

That holoflake looks Fn SICK. I love my ⅞ warmoth s-style build with the same holoflake finish.
You're channel is one of a kind dude. Thanks for all the great videos and staying true to yourself!

Chapman panics each time KDH posts a video

Love your channel. Not trying to diss with the suggestion. I have a many frames and I think glasses are a fun way to accessorize for artistic fellows like us. Though I still want many more guitars than pairs of glasses. Keep up the great videos. You even made me understand Gibson’s rampant cease and desists better. All the best, Andrew

21:15 Hey KDH! The Kraken MkII version ships with a second set of feet that are a good inch tall, so they sit higher than a cab or amp handle. A lot of smaller heads have this issue, I've had the same complaint with the PRS MT15 and the Mesa Mark V25.

One of my favorite channels lately. Keep up the solid work

Also fun tip. I carry 4 hockey pucks in my gig bag to fix the “feet” issue.

Ironically in a recent blind amp shootout on Andertons Rob Chapman was shocked to find out that one of the amp tones he disliked the most was a Victory amp. LMAO!

This is the right move KDH. The value of the product should be separated from the shady secret owner drama. You da man.

I think the amp sounds great and Victory is a solid brand. I know why the guys at Anderton's wanted to avoid selling it as a "house" brand but I think it was a silly decision because other great brands, like my beloved Orange, started out that way and still made it.

I don't doubt that they're good amps, but you know, omission is deception. Lee Anderton did a great job regularly featuring Victory amps while omitting that he personally benefited from their sales directly. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Love the sparkle finish on that first guitar you played, pure rock n roll sound and playing!!!

All I can say is don't ever do anything to compromise your integrity. Not only because it's the right thing to do, but because it is seriously your dominant selling point as a creator. You've earned a level of trust that's unmatched in the guitar YouTube community. You really have. Your transparency and commitment to straightforwardly telling it like is simply doesn't exist on any other channel that I know of. And you took real risks to get to this point. Keep it up man.

great review man. no reflection on your playing but it manages to sound gutless AND muddy which is just weird.

Can we talk about the finish on that Sully

KDH, I love these videos. In the YouTube sea of everyone shilling gear and talking about how fantastic everything always is, it's a breath of fresh air when you rip into flaws like the short feet on the amp head.
