My dad died some months ago. On his 2 month anniversary my mom was in hospital so I went to her home daily to take care of their pet. I walked to their home and a couple of yards away from the house, I saw my reflection on a shopwindow and I saw a white feather on my head! I kept it with a pic of my dad. The night before I had dreamt of my dad saying that everything was gonna be alright (we are having a lot of problems) asked him (in my dream) how he could talk if he was dead, that he should give me a sign and he turned on and off the lights and told me " it's gonna be ok".

My baby brother(22) passed last year. I took a trip a went to Georgia to visit my dad earlier this year and I noticed this cardinal would come right outside the window of the room I was sleeping in and even when I would go outside to sit in my car, this cardinal would come and land on my side mirror and just sit there for awhile then fly away. My brother passed away from cancer it was a 9 year long battle only 44 years old. The day of his funeral it was raining but every time we got out of the car it stopped. After the funeral was over my family and I went back to the cemetery to collect some of the flowers. Out of no where a yellow butterfly with black wings flew passed us and landed on his grave where the flowers where laid. I could not believe what I was seeing. I will never forget that day plus I told my brother every time I see a yellow butterfly I think it you. So the 1st anniversary I waited for a yellow butterfly to come same time as a year ago there was so many of them that day around me but not yellow. My parents had left and I waited longer for this yellow butterfly to come. I started screaming there he comes the yellow butterfly my husband could not believe the yellow butterfly came. I miss my brother so much but I hold on to the yellow butterfly in my heart. I know it won’t be the last time I see one. Rip little brother.

I just had my first experience and ran to youtube to see if this have happened to anyone before. I was wondering if my dad is happy or if he is ok. Then after I put my son to bed my phone hit the side of my leg and the song ( I'm happy started to play out of the blue) I cried like a baby.

My favorite adopted cousin passed away on February 1st and on St Patrick's Day of 2023 the overhead lights flickered very gently. Í knew it was cousin Michael. Michael was a gentle, calm person and his presence always calmed me down. On Sunday, 2 days later a white feather was discovered on the kitchen floor where I sit to journal. I have had so many crazy moments after my brother passed away September 23, 2020. For one my lights had a mind of its own. I also had this figurine that my hubby had out thrown at my head unexpectedly on 3 separate occasions. My automatic litter box was unbolted at the back (my brother knew it was the bane of my existence) and the bolt would be perfectly placed on the ground when normally I’d have to go looking for it. This happened on many occasions after his passing. I had a dream where he was there visiting and I could smell his cologne in my dream if that makes any sense. I woke up just sobbing but grateful for the visit.

Lately I have been finding feathers everywhere. Just the other day I found 4 feathers in my kitchen. All within an hour of each other showing up. He was over for a good visit. He knows I miss him and hated starting a new year without him. This world is quite lonely without him.

Do blue jays count? After my father dies a blue jay came and visited my son and I for about a week. It ate out of our hands and flew into our house and sang to us. After a week or so it was never seen could that have been a sign?
