Thanks I have peagot 2008. Sometimes it has starting problems. Mechanic said that it has fuel pump problem. Give a pause of 20 minutes and start it again. I did it and it started

In my country, they sell 6-speed automatic only. Can i order 8-speed gearbox and change it?
Is there is huge difference in terms of quality of driving this car?

Hi, I recently got a peugeot 2008 GT 1.2 pure tech 72 plate. I drive in Auto, however,
I have noticed that on my dashboard it says D1 all the way to D6 when I drive. This is confusing as I know of just seeing “D” when I drive. Can you give me some advise on how to make sure D shows up on my dashboard only.


Also when stationary in traffic on a little hill, I have noticed my car rolls back whilst being in D and I am forced to accelerate fast for the car to pull forward. Can you please explain to me why this happens and what steps I can take to not rolling back, it gives me so much anxiety when driving not knowing what the car may do.

I’ve got a 2024 automatic can’t get in gear there’s no gear shift just buttons it feels like the handbrake is on all the time it’s only done 500 miles

Thanks for invite, but new isn't a consideration for me, but I did visit Hull Peugeot, but they weren't very accommodating at all!
I guess obviously sales wanted an immediate purchase.
But what was useful on viewing 208, 2008 & 3008.
I liked the Exterior of the 2008, but smaller engine max & inside lacked the spacious feel and visibility of the 3008, even though 2008 are a cheaper price.
3008 is my clear favourite, was surprised that 2nd Gen didn't make a Diesel Hybrid though.
Surpringly the 208 felt more spacious with better visibility then the 2008, for a non SUV/MPV hatchback it was impressive driving position, but diesel version only 100bhp!
All in 3008 2nd Gen looks a great choice & in 5 years from now, depreciation will make these really affordable!

Q1. Simple as selecting M (Manual in front of Eat8)?

Obviously/of course:
LEFT PADDLE = GEAR DOWN
REAR PADDLE = GEAR UP

Q2. GEAR INDICATOR on the INFOTAINMENT or ODO CLOCKS?

Q3. GEAR UP INDICATOR on the INFO CLOCKS?
This was available on earlier models of the 3008.
