You actually need 270 coins. 250 for the skeleton key, 10 for the green flashlight and 10 to tip Jeff.

There's many things missing from that guide tbh

The green flashlight (Also known as gummy flashlight isnt the best for rooms as it makes a lot of noises, basically reducing your reaction time to 60 and 120)

Speaking of them, they have specific spawn condition to keep in mind
A-60 can only spawn if the next room have lockers in it
Meanwhile A-120 (or A-200) can only spawn if the room you're exiting have lockers in it
Also, A-120 spawns a ton of the bridge room, so going bac to the lockers even when not hearing anything is often a good idea

You forgot to mention that you need to pull the lever in the basement first and then proceed to the hole in the wall (or else you won't be able to get to the skeleton door)

If you're playing the A rooms solo, you can normally use the regular flashlight the whole time. I reached door a-318 before accidentally pressing the airplane mode button of my keyboard, and from what I've noticed, because of the battery spawn rate, you could technically have it going forever.

Also for the entities, A-90 also requires that you don't move your cursor. And if he spawns at the same time as A-60 or A-120, dw about them, they will pause while A-90 is active. Focus on not moving when you see A-90, and THEN go to a locker, you'll be fine. Also A-120 can sometimes come back in the room, you have to wait until you're 100% sure you don't hear him at all. If you can't rely on Audio, I suggest you wait at least 10 seconds after seeing him for the first time before getting out, in case he comes back.

Sucks that the tablet only lasts 1 round, going through 1000 rooms is 2 hours of work. They should really make the tablet appear in the pre run shop.

Not certain if this was unique to my run but one thing to note about the interaction between smiley and A-60 is that the game only rolls for A-60 to spawn on certain locker rooms, and smiley only on rooms after A-60 fails to spawn. This can help reduce how often you need to be on guard, since you can effectively cycle between checking for A-60's audio cue only if the correct room spawns, and smiley only if the room you're leaving didn't spawn A-60. This can be useful since it effectively lets you allocate more of your attention spawn to watching for A-90, who's really the only hard obstacle to account for. Managed to make my first clear a no-hit run due to this, so would definitely recommend.

In 2:59 he is actually called and also comes after A-120, not A-200

A-200 is actually called A-120 though it usually spawns between 120-150 until your first encounter. More people know it as A-120 so if your in a 2-4 player match in the Rooms (you dont have to) but you should call it A-120. Also somthing he did here with A-120 was get out of the locker right away, but not many people know A-120 can come back this is called a rebound. Good luck getting to A-1000 everyone!

the reason the candle and crucifix dont work is because the guiding light is what powers them, and in the rooms section of doors guiding light never approaches you until you die

Wat u need to know: as you go more and more rooms will go darke.there are 3 entities : a 60 it acts like rush, only you won't know if it comes on the lights but only on the sound like ( roaring ), second is a 90, it will appear on your screen and when it appears do not move, and finally a 200 it's like rush, only it comes from the front, the sound is like ( drums banging) and the cross does not work

dont buy the gummy flashlight at the beginning of the rooms. it may not need batteries but recharging it makes it hard to hear entities. its easy enough to find regular batteries for the normal flashlight.
