Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May take part in an extended Q&A at BBC Television Centre ahead of a preview of the final episode to celebrate their final Grand Tour special and to look back on their 22-year career working together.

The trio reminisced on stories from the early days of Top Gear in 2002 right through to shooting their final special in Zimbabwe last year.

The Grand Tour: One for the Road launches exclusively and globally from 13 September on Prime Video

Without these 3 blokes, i wouldn't have have become a car designer, a ux designer, and a product designer.

I owe these three my passion and my dreams,

I think it was James in the show who said he hoped their work had brought us a moment of joy. Oh, James, you three brought us so many of those! Thank you all from...well, the whole world. I'll still watch anything any of you do!

I will not spoil anything for anyone other than - the final swansong for these amazing guys was without a shadow of doubt the absolute best episode of the lot. If you have anything harsh or nasty to say about this show and the 3 guys who have entertained us for 22 years - keep it to yourself. We should be thankful that we had them at all. Jeremy, Richard and of course James - Thank you for sharing your adventures with us and for all the times you made us laugh, cry, upset, jump for joy, LOL and so on these will be precious memories that shall not ever fade from our hearts. The Grand Tour team was one of a kind and what a way to end the journey!

A fit of depression and a "screw it" attitude after watching the Vietnam special saw me go there. Then I got badgered into riding a bike there. Then I came home, got my license and have been all over the world on my bike.

I wouldn't have done that without them. Which is weird.

A fundamental reason it worked is that these three are all decent guys with genuine affection for each other.

The only car show ever made that the cars didn't matter.
It was always about these 3 together having fun showing some magnificent and interesting places all over the world.Whether it was in the best of the best cars or the worst of the worst cars didn't really ever matter.
Best show on TV over the last 20+ years.

End of an era. I even cried at the end. It feels very bitter sweet as i'm sad it's ended but at the same time it feels right for it to end. These three got me through some very tough times growing up. TG and TGT was escapism from my own personal problems and when I put it on during tough times I always thought o myself... "Well, could be worse!"

I’ll never regret the day 8 year old me clicked on this odd BBC channel I’ve never seen before (I’m American) that was showing Top Gear just before I left for school. I’ve been watching these guys ever since and what they created is unlikely to be replicated. Even on days I was down I could always crack a smile from watching old top gear or the grand tour.

The best part is, we can keep watching all the specials for years to come. I've watched the Viet Nam one probably a couple dozen times, I love it.

It’s like when your best friend moves from next door to the other side of the country…. You know you might see them again but it will never be the same. That part of your life is over.

It really did feel like I was saying goodbye to a friend. I even watched the credits… I never watch the credits….

Cheers guys, thank you for the memories.

"Leaving the dynamite at home" was the right decision. It just felt real.
