I met James in Japan when he was doing the “Our man in Japan”. I walked up to him and ask if he’s James May, while the camera was rolling (I didn’t see the camera cuz it was a crowded scene).

He politely said the camera was rolling and after the shot he came to me and we had a conversation (and of course a selfie). Nicest guy ever.

Clarkson: it's easy to annoy the BBC

Also Clarkson: drove a Peel P50 inside the BBC's office

These three arguing over whether that sound is rain or a kettle is the most English thing ever

Just a thought: maybe give the guy asking questions a microphone, like Jeremy I couldn’t hear anything!

Jeremy got older, James stayed in place and Hammond got younger

This is exactly why they made it so far...it doesn't matter what the question is, you can start a sentence and stop midway and put a question mark, and these three would argue about it and it'll be funny

This 3 are the best British television brought since Rowan Atkinson stopped...

Lets conduct an interview in an empty warehouse, with the questions recorded on an old Victrola, broadcasting via WWI trench radio bounced off a set of cookware in orbit from the dark side of the moon.

Note to self: Don't approach Jeremy Clarkson if you see him eating.

Jeremy Clarkson is 5 years older than Keanu Reeves.

Can British GQ not afford a mic for the interviewer?

This episode is a good example of why American Top Gear failed in the US. We never wanted an American version, we wanted English humor with Clarkson, May and Hammond. These guys are hilarious

Thanks for giving a microphone to the interviewer. It really made listening to his questions much clearer.

GQ: "How does it feel to be a cultural icon?"
James: "I wouldn't know."

And, somehow, the most British man on television gets more British.

RH: "Ah we can cut that out"
GQ: Lets put it in TWICE!

I’ve sat legs crossed, eyes glued to the screen since I was a little kid watching these 3, and all these years later I still forget all the doom and gloom of the world the moment they start bouncing off each other. The genuine chemistry between them all is legendary and something I don’t think we’ll see done again by another group of presenters.

Jeremy with short hair, Richard with a beard, and James still looks like an old woman.

I don't care if these 3 hosted a show on needlework, I would still watch it

Hammond aged like a fine wine. Clarkson aged like milk.

yo let's do an interview in a giant echo chamber under a sheet metal roof during a rainstorm and have our quietest interviewer sit behind the berlin wall
