In the Philippines, we have plenty of these. Our coconut cutters sell it for under a $1 and don't care about spillage (or their hands as they operate quickly where I would lose my hand if I was trying to cut it as fast as they would)

Usually when I open young coconut, it sprayed out from the hole like there's pressure inside the shell. Surprised to see yours just normal and not spraying out coconut water.

coco that a different way to open a coconut. In Jamaican 🇯🇲 we just chop it till we see the shell or flesh and drink then cut a small off then cut it in half and use the small piece to eat the flesh
